Robinson finishes 11th in Redbud 300

July 21, 2013 - Brett Robinson posted an 11^th place finish in the ARCA Redbud 300 Saturday Night.

It was a good run for the Boot Scoot Bar and Grill racing team, after running in the top eight most of the night.

“I was so glad to get back in the car again after sitting out the last three races due to lack of funding and it didn’t take long to knock the rust off”, said Brett Robinson.

The Brett Robinson Racing/Boot Scoot Bar and Grill Monte Carlo stalked the leaders for 250 laps and was in position to make a move when a piece of debris cut down the right rear tire with 50 laps remaining. Brett recovered to get an 11^th place finish.

“It was a great night until 50 laps to go but that is racing”, said Brett, “It was an excellent experience and I can’t thank Boot Scoot Bar and Grill enough for the opportunity. I can’t wait until Friday to go to Indy and put this fast Chevrolet in victory lane in front of the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series drivers and fans. It will be a packed house! We are running on Friday night Nationwide runs on Saturday and Sprint Cup on Sunday.

Boot Scoot Bar and Grill has joined the Brett Robinson Racing Team

 July 8, 2013 - Brett Robinson has partnered with Boot Scoot Bar & Grill to field an ARCA Super Late Model for the remaining 2013 schedule.

This is the break we have been praying for to show how good our race team can be.

Boot Scoot Bar and Grill located in Floyd Knobs, Indiana is giving us an opportunity to win races.

We will debut the newly formed race team on Saturday, July 20^th in the prestigious Redbud 300 against the best racers in the country. Former winners include Chase Elliot, Kyle Busch, Mark Martin, Dick Trickle, Ross Kenseth and Alan Kulwicki just to name a few.

The Boot Scoot Racing Chevrolet will then go to Indianapolis and run on Friday, July 26^th in front of a packed house that will include the Sprint Cup and Nationwide teams and fans. Nationwide Series will run on Saturday and the Sprint Cup Series will run Sunday.

BRETT ROBINSON RACING TEAM finishes 12th out of 143 competitors in final point standings

-         Brett Robinson the 19 yr.old out of New Albany IN. in his first season with the ARCA/CRA Super Series had a remarkable freshman year leading laps and battling for wins. Brett did a fantastic job for us; we led laps at Springport, were passing for the lead at Shady Bowl, in contention for the win at the prestigious Redbud 300 and ran 7^th at the treacherous high banks of Winchester. We were in contention at every race and with a little racing luck we could have very easily added a few trophies to the showroom stated Todd Craig with DCI General Contractors. I am proud of our team said Brett we thought we had a top five in final point standings but we had to sit out a couple of shows in Michigan due to financial reasons. We had a good year but we are looking for wins! We have some announcements in the near future which should give us the support we need to run a full year. We are really excited about our future in the ARCA/CRA Super Series. We would like to give a special thank you to all our associates,  DCI General Contractors, Mcgunegill Engine Performance, Advance Racing Suspension, Monson Truck Line and Port City Racecars.
